Citizens wishing to address the board on an unlisted agenda item must notify the board secretary no later than four calendar days prior to the

Columbus Community Schools has canceled all JH practices for Tuesday, January 21st. HS coaches will contact athletes about optional practices for this afternoon.
ColumbusCSD: School is cancelled for Tuesday, January 21st. Windchills are expected be greater than -20.
Columbus CSD will have a weather related 2-hour late start on Tuesday, January 21. Doors will open at 10 AM, breakfast will not be served. Stay tuned for further announcements.
Due to opponent injuries, JV girls will be playing 2 quarters at 5:00 PM at Van Buren tonight. JV Boys and Varsity girls will be playing at 6 PM. Varsity boys will follow the varsity girls in the Van Buren Main gym.

Game time change for JH Boys Basketball at Hillcrest Academy.
Times are pushed back to 7th grade starting at 5:30 PM and 8th grade beginning at 6:30 PM.
Due to limited numbers for Hillcrest, JV girls will be playing 2 quarters tonight at Columbus. Schedule of events: JV Girls at 4:30 in Main Gym;
JV Boys will follow around 5:00 in the 2nd gym;
Varsity Girls will play in Main Gym at 6;
Followed by Varsity Boys at 7:30.
Cheerleaders will be selling pulled pork sandwiches as an added bonus.

On Monday, January 13th, a junior varsity double header has been added with New London. The Wildcats will host the Tigers. JV Girls will play at 6 and the JV Boys game will follow..

Wildcat Basketball delivering non perishable food to Community Action of Louisa County.
This Friday night, December 20th, Columbus Community will host Wapello for a trio of basketball contests. JV boys will start the games in the main gym at 4:30. The varsity girls will follow at 6 PM. After the varsity girls game, our basketball Parent's Night will be celebrated. The varsity boys will close the evening following Parent's Night. As a bonus, the BPA will be serving a meal to raise funds for their trip to nationals.
