There will be no JV girls game versus New London on Thursday or versus Wapello on Friday. JV Boys will play in the main gym at 4:30 on both nights.
The Muscatine Special Operation Response Team (SWAT) will be in our district buildings to do training this evening, Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024. The SWAT Team will stay out of the gyms and wrestling rooms so that players can practice.

The stage is set! On Monday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m., the Columbus Community Jr/Sr High School Band & Choir will perform its Winter Concert.
This is a time to celebrate the season and the performance acts as a final evaluation for our students' hard work this semester. Students should arrive by 6:30 p.m., and they should wear festive attire or holiday colors for the concert. Santa hats are welcome, but please, no sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants, tennis shoes, crocks, sandals, or hats.

The high school girls wrestling meet scheduled at Keokuk tomorrow, December 14th has been cancelled.
Due to the impending weather, both by the national weather service and by our local weather station, we feel it is best to cancel tomorrow's varsity boy's dual tournament at Colfax-Mingo Community School District.

Pick-Ups:
• Children who are pick-ups will be standing on a paw print in the front of the building.
Pick-Up Lane:
• Using the pick-up lane is the preferred pickup method. Please stay in your vehicle in line and students will be sent to your vehicle to load.
• After loading your children in your vehicle, please continue to stay in the pick-up lane. Please do not pull out of the pick-up lane before you get to the stop sign.
• If you park your vehicle and are waiting for your child, please know that we will not allow them to cross the street until ALL the pick-up cars are gone.
Walkers:
• When walkers are dismissed, they will be using the walking path on the north side of Roundy. Please remind your child if they are walking, they need to stay on the walking path the entire way.

Due to potential weather conditions, the JH boys wrestling team will not be traveling to Sigourney tonight. JH boys will also have no practice.

Join us tonight as we celebrate our biggest fans. Before our home wrestling meet, we will recognize the parents of the Columbus/WMU wrestlers. Introductions will start at 5:45. Wrestling will start at 6:00 PM.
Spring and the Music Trip will be here before you know it. The Music Boosters will hold a required trip meeting on Wednesday, December 18 at 6 PM in the Columbus Community High School cafeteria. Students who have signed up for the trip and their parents/guardians must attend to select roommates, sign trip forms, handle refunds, and discuss any outstanding accounts. The Boosters look forward to finalizing these plans for the excursion.

With great participation numbers in our Winter Sports, Columbus Community will be adding more competitions for our young athletes. Our JV teams will travel to Winfield/Mount Union tomorrow night. JV girls will play two quarters at 6, and the JV boys team will compete afterward at approximately 6:30 PM at Winfield/Mount Union High School.
