Notice of Special Public Meeting Columbus Community School District You are hereby notified that the Board of Education will meet: December 6, 2023 @ 10:00 AM for a Special Meeting Columbus Administration Building • 1208 Colton Street • Columbus Junction, IA 52738 . At that meeting, the tentative agenda is as follows: 1. Call to order 2. Approval of agenda – Action 3. New Business – Final reading of two Board Policies – Action Policy 400.1 Licensed Employee Qualifications, Recruitment, Selection. Policy 400.2 Licensed Employee Evaluation 4. Adjournment - Action Citizens wishing to address the board on an unlisted agenda item must notify the board secretary no later than four calendar days prior to the board meeting. The person making the request must state the person’s name, address, and purpose of the presentation; action desired by the board and give any other pertinent background information. The Board President may not choose to recognize a person to speak who is not a resident of the Columbus Community School District. Citizens wishing to present oral or written petitions to the board may do so at the time they are given to speak. However, the board will only receive the petitions and/or listen to the citizens. The board will take no action directly following the presentation, but rather listen with a concerned attitude.
