We will not be serving meals May 27th, - May 31st, 2024. As staff will be preparing for our
Summer Food Program. We have training we will be doing. We will resume having meals on
June 3rd – July11th, 2024. The summer meals will be served at Roundy this year. Also Roundy will be serving meals during the Summer learning program June 3 rd– June 27th, so that the students can be dropped off and picked up at Roundy during this time. We will not be delivering meals this year so you will need to come to Roundy Elementary.

JH Musical: Wednesday, May 29th at 7:00 P.M.
Come join us for Shrek the Musical performed by Columbus Junior High Students. One night only!

Girls' basketball camp starts tomorrow Wednesday, May 29 in the practice gym.
Grades entering 8-12 for the 2024-25 school year will be from 8-10 am. Grades entering 4-7 for the 2024-25 school year will be from 10:30 am to 12 pm. Camp will also be on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31.

The JH Baseball game for tonight has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. There will not be practice tonight.

1 hour delay: For the safety of students and staff ColumbusCSD will be delayed 1 hour Friday, May 24 due to strong, dangerous storms in the area. Please take shelter and stay safe.

We would like to remind everyone that with warm weather and outdoor activities taking place, that you may not bring any pets to sporting events on school property. This is in accordance with the state policy. Patrons that bring pets will be asked to leave, sorry for any inconvenience.

Highschool softball practice has been cancelled for tonight due to weather. The JH musical on 5/21/24 has been postponed.

High school track and field parents: We will be having a track and field banquet to celebrate the 2024 boys and girls at 6 PM Wednesday, May 22 in the high school cafeteria. Bring a dessert. Mike Jay will be on hand to give opening comments, track coaches will present letters and awards, then Mike will announce two Track Guy Scholarship winners.

If you ordered a track t-shirt, they can be picked up in the high school office.

The high school girls first round sub state soccer game vs Washington will be played at Iowa City, City High on 5/14/24 starting at 3:45 pm admission is free you will not need a ticket.

The last 2 days of the FFA plant/flower sale. Times today 5/10 is 3:30-6:30 and tomorrow 5/11 hours are 12-3:00. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. A plant would be a great gift for Mother's Day.

After an amazing night at the district meet, we wait to see what events qualified (we will know today). We think we have a bout 10 events that will make it. In the meantime, this is our state track T-shirt design with names/events of qualifiers on the back (THERE IS NO ONLINE STORE). If you would like to order, they are $10, sizes adult small to 5XL.Reply below or talk to Traci Orr in the high school office. Deadline to order is 5pm Sunday 5/12.
