
Online registration for Columbus Community Schools’ 2024-2025 school year is now open. It is not required to register in person. Current students can be registered on your Infinite Campus parent portal. New students can also be registered online. District Reminder of Family Week:
The Unified Activity Federation (Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Iowa High School Music Association, and Iowa High School Speech Association) Non-Contact Period for the summer of 2024 will be Sunday, July 28, 2024, through Sunday, August 4, 2024. This is the third year of an annual break in activities across Iowa each summer.
During this time, there will be no activities in the Columbus Community School District to include camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning, lessons, meetings, etc.

Wildcat football camp starts Monday, August 5th at 4pm and goes through Friday August 9th. This is for all Columbus high school football players, junior high players also encouraged to attend Mon/Tue/Wed. This is a free camp, bring your football cleats and be ready to learn! #bluemachine

7th graders (6th going into 7th): Need Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines: Per Iowa Department of Public Health, student will be exempt from starting 7th grade if vaccines are not complete by start of upcoming school year. Student will be exempt until vaccine requirements are complete.
9th graders (8th going into 9th): Need dental screening (no earlier than 1 year prior to enrollment and no later than 4 months after enrollment). IDPH dental screening form will need to be completed by Dental office and returned to school. Fax number 319-728-2205.
12th graders (11th going into 12th): Need Meningococcal vaccine: Per Iowa Department of Public Health, student will be exempt from starting 12th grade if vaccine is not completed by start of upcoming school year. Student will be exempt until vaccine requirement is complete.
Louisa County Public Health is available to administer required vaccinations by appointment only. Their contact information is 319-523-3981. Please call them to schedule an appointment or for any questions regarding public health requirements.

The Columbus Football Team went to Middletown for a fitness camp. Thank you to Sawyer Foster and the Army National Guard for putting this on. These pictures are from Day 1 and Day 2 there is a total of 4 days that they will participate in. Keep working hard boys!
