Girls' Golf: The team's first meet is Friday, March 30.

Boys' Golf: The team's first meet is Friday, March 30.

Soccer: The team's first game is Friday, March 30.

Boys' Track: The Columbus Tack and Field teams competed in the AD Dickinson Relays at the UNI Dome over the weekend. The highlights of the meet were: Casey Robertson set a new school indoor 1600 meter run record with his time of 4:46. Sam Chaney recorded the fastest ever mile time by a Columbus freshman, running 4:51.

Girls' Track: The girls' track team placed 3rd at the L-M invitational on Tuesday, March 27. The highlights of the meet were: Heather Suiter placed 1st in the Shot Put, Summer Chandler and Kelsey Lyon finished 1st and 2nd place respectively in the High Jump. The Shuttle Hurdle Relay placed 1st. Navil Hernandez placed 2nd in the 100m and 200m dash. Monica Garcia placed 2nd and 3rd in the 1500m and 800m respectively. The girls' next meet is Friday, March 30 @ Mediapolis.

Parent Safety Update!

The SEISC Art Show has been in the Iowa Wesleyan Gallery March 24-30. Columbus selected 15 pieces to exhibit in the 150 piece show. Artists of the Columbus Art Pieces are: Kenia Castillo, Jose Hernandez, Nancy Lopez, Maria Pedraza, Yeini Sosa, Aaron Rickey, Brenda DelaPaz, Jessica Martinez, Israel Amigon, Julian Baeza, Rebeca Tepalt, and Elizabeth Morris. Fourteen students attended special workshops of this event on the Iowa Wesleyan College March 27. Columbus High School Art teacher and sponsor is Mrs. Kathleen Almelien.
